Ham House 125 learners were able to visit Ham House and Gardens last week due to the generosity of the National Trust allowing free entrance to us for the foreseeable future!

Some of us met at Hammerton's Ferry in Twickenham before crossing the River Thames and then meeting up with the rest of the group.

The rather miserable weather didn't prevent us all from enjoying a wonderfully interesting visit to the House, and the gardens, which began with a talk from Zoe who is a National Trust guide.

After visiting the House, we sat outside chatting and eating our packed lunches.
The home languages of the participants were:
TURKISH
ROMANIAN
RUSSIAN
TATAR
ARMENIAN
CANTONESE
BENGALI
ARABIC
JAPANESE
SPANISH
