Thirteen EAL learners, speaking the following languages, joined our trip to the Orchid Festival at Kew Gardens on Monday:
ARABIC, CANTONESE, KURDISH, TURKISH, RUSSIAN, UKRAINIAN and JAPANESE.
After visiting the wonderful Orchid Festival held in the Princess of Wales Conservatory and showing amazing orchids from Madagascar, we looked at the Pagoda Tree, then went to the Hive. After lunch, we went to the Palm House and the Temperate House and ended up at the Marianne North Gallery. It was an action-packed busy day!
