These photos show a few views from each of the sessions. We had 20 participants at the first session on 26th September and 16 for the second on 24th October.

An official partnership with Kew Gardens will ensure that our EAL learners will have specific training to enable them to become registered volunteers at the Gardens. The next training session will be held on Friday 28th November, 9.45am to 11.30am.

Please let us know if you would like join us on the day. You must be an enrolled learner with our charity.

The pictures show our learner participants who speak the following languages:
AMHARIC, TURKISH, CANTONESE, MANDARIN, PORTUGUESE, UKRAINIAN, RUSSIAN, ARABIC, SPANISH, JAPANESE, FRENCH, GERMAN AND FLEMISH.

The participants came from several different classes and enjoyed the opportunity to meet new people. It was good to share the time between being outside making sketches and collecting leaves and other items which had fallen to the ground - and being in the classroom with access to art materials to create the nature journals.
