Around 50 people attended the event and we had several delightful singing performances in various languages from children and adults.

 

Several ex learners turned up, including two who came specially all the way from Maidenhead, which was great.

 

 

Also, it was so good to meet with some of the learners from Alex's new Mortlake class!

 

 

The 19 home languages of the guests were: Arabic, Hebrew, Tagalog, Farsi/Dari, German, Ukrainian, Kazakh, Bashkir, Tatar, Romanian, Portuguese, Spanish, Turkish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Armenian, Russian, Vietnamese and Greek!

 

 

It was a great treat to sample homemade food from so many different countries and cultural backgrounds.
