We had a lovely group of learners from various classes including the coffee morning organised by Matilda and Yasmin. Participants included Amharic, Farsi, Mandarin, Pashto, Spanish and Turkish speakers.

We explored the three main apartments spanning the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries of royalty. We also visited the Last Princess of the Punjab exhibition about Princess Sophia Duleep Singh, a goddaughter of Queen Victoria, who lived in a Hampton Court grace-and-favour house and famously became a suffragette.

After the visit we had a chat and picnic by the lake at Hyde Park.
