Despite cold - and even icy weather, our intrepid walkers have trudged for more than two hours each week while enjoying the river, the wildlife, the Orleans House Woods, the Kitchen Garden, the Grotto and wonderful trees and plants....

Our Russian walkers have said that the current weather is like the middle of spring in Moscow and they love it!

While walking and talking, we have covered subjects as diverse as:

climate change, waste management, architectural history, conservation, growing vegetables, archaeology, bird and animal behaviour, urban planning, health and exercise, the challenges of English grammar, tongue twisters, medical research, running a business, the UK education system and many, many more amazingly interesting subjects......
