Our Women’s Friendship Swimming Club (WFSC) is a low cost activity which runs on Sunday mornings at Teddington Hydrotherapy Pool offering women a chance to socialise and make friends in a women only environment. Our club is open to all women, not just our EAL learners. New members are welcome and can find out more by reading the below FAQ or contacting Ruth or Alex.

Can I get involved?
Our WFSC is run entirely by volunteers! As a volunteer with our charity, you will be helping many isolated women to access healthy exercise in a safe and friendly environment and your experience will be a useful addition to your CV.

Volunteer Lifeguards – Our charity is happy to pay in full for lifeguard training for our volunteer lifeguards. Once qualified our volunteer lifeguards then commit to being on a rota volunteering on average once a month for a minimum of two years. The NPLQ lifeguard qualification is recognised nationally and could lead to paid employment at any swimming pool in the UK!

Admin Assistants – Two volunteer admin assistants are on duty each week to check membership, take payment and organise refreshments.
